Can I use my sprint blackberry with boost mobile?
Hi I currently have a blackberry 8300 through sprint..My contract has already ran out and I do not want to sign another contract. I was wondering if I could use my sprint blackberry with a boost mobile plan?
You can use your Sprint Blackberry with the OTHER unknown Boost mobile unlimited plan which runs on Sprint, not Nextel (which the Walkie Talkie run ones on. ) It is called Unlimited by Boost (cdma) . They have way more reliable/faster texts/calls then Boost iden/walkie talkie and fast 3g internet vs Boost iden’s 14.4 k net.
They have a special promo right now. It ends September 3rd. If you get an old Boost Cdma Phone used from ebay or whatever and activate now, you get free activation (normally $15 ) and free one month of unlimited talk/text/web for $50. You HAVE to use an original Boost mobile cdma phone (only three models Motorola Krzr K1m, w385, c290). Afterwards, you can call in and transfer the esn on your BB to the Boost mobile account, give your old Boost Mobile Phone to a friend and have them do the same thing and pass it on. )
That is the biggest catch for getting a Sprint phone on Boost. You have to call 1-877-TLK-MORE to ask for Unlimited by Boost . You have to tell whoever is signing you up the verbal promo code “FREE MONTH” to get it. Also, you have to take an area code from Ga, Tx, Tn, Hi, Ark,
Fl, Ok, La, Ca, NC, Ala, Miss, Nev to qualify. If they ask for an address, give them any old address you find online from the closest state to yours. They can’t port numbers from outside the lucky 13 states , sorry
Unlimited by Boost has the ability to use ANY Sprint phone except the Samsung Instinct or Palm Pre. You can’t use Verizon or any other as Boost is owned by Sprint but the other companies have nothing to do with them. Oh, yeah, you can’t use Virgin Mobile phones either even though Sprint just bought them out.
